Hi everyone! I am currently in the process of getting my degree in Midwifery and am looking at NZ due to the lack of jobs in Ireland at the minute! Would love any info on rate of pay, employment opportunities, the process of registering as midwife over there and suggestions on best places to live. Also, my boyfriend will be looking for work as a history / english teacher, will he be qualified to work in NZ and there jobs? Thanks guys!

Thanks for your reply - Midwifery is on the LSS list but the jury seems to be out on teaching! In your experience, how long does the immigration process take?
