Teaching in Amsterdam

Hi everybody!
I am Emilia. I moved in Amsterdam from Palermo, Italy almost one month ago. Can you give me some information about how to become a teacher here? I am qualified to teach humanities (Italian Literature, Latin and Greek languages and culture) at middle and senior high school. Are these subjects studied here? I think I should speak Dutch, so I'm studying it, but is there the possibility to teach in English?
Last, but not least, I'd like to start doing some part-time jobs: how can I find them?
Thank you all for your help!

Bye! :D

Ciao Emilia,

Welcome in the Netherlands and welcome on board to this site.
The subjects where you are qualified for, are studies only for Gymnasium, a special type of education where students get prepared for the University.
These kind of education called VWO (Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs).
I am talking about the Latin en Greek languages.

If you want to work as teacher for these languages, you need first that your certifications/diplomas are licensed by the government. You can do this by checking the website of IBG Group in Groningen.
And then of course make sure that your Dutch is good enough to teach.

Good luck!

Thank you very much! :D But, what's exactly the IBG Group?

This is a page from their website, unfortunately only in Dutch.
Maybe some one can help you with this.
Further they advise on the site to visit the webpage " New to Holland" which is also a sticky topic on this forum https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=268519
