Top of the Rock and the Empire State Building would be at the top of my list to bring friends and family if they aren't from NYC.

The Metropolitan Museum, Statue of Liberty, St. Mark's Street, Times Square, Central Park, Museum of Natural History, and simply walk around. the city is filled with amazing places. you'll always find something.
