Hi. Me, my boyfriend and our cat are moving to Siem Reap on the 10th of November 2013 from the UK!
We are looking for accomodation for when we arrive and I have posted an advert in the Housing section.
I have read about different areas to live in Siem Reap and that there are problems with flooding and power cuts more in certain areas. Can someone please advise on the different areas in Siem Reap and where these problems are more likely occur.

Power cuts can be everywhere and any time, and flooding is less frequent now, lot of work has been done on drainage. Wat Damnak and Wat Bo areas had the most flood in the past. Nothing this year so far...
