Hello All,

My husband was transferred to Bogota from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. My daughter and I have been here for about a month and a half and my husband joined us two weeks ago. We opted not to bring our personal belongings and will need to buy all of our furniture, appliances and household items here in Bogota. Any suggestions or input would be helpful. We are currently in a temporary apartment in the Unicentro area and hope to be moving to the Gratamira area very soon.

For Furniture I recommend Barrios Unidos calle 68 with Carrera 30. it's an area with lot of furniture shops it's safe. Me and my husband have been there many times never had any insecurity issue.
