How to make friends in North Korea

We have been talking about loneliness when you are abroad, let's now talk about how to make friends (locals and other expats) when you're living in North Korea :top:

Which are your best tips to meet people and to make friends in North Korea??

Thanks in advance for your participation

it's not a good idea trying to make friends or even talk to local people when you are in North Korea. That could only bring the person you're trying to talk to into trouble. There's the rule in and one should not try to break it. There's some places where people are allowed to talk to foreigners, including some bars, shops, restaurants which earn foreign currency. In these places, you can technically chat & have some fun with pretty waitresses (if they're willing to). Other kinds of people you can talk to is tourguides, officers in charge of foreign affairs in government agencies or in some companies. You can buy them some small gifts but don't try asking them out for a walk, drink, dinner or whatever. Outside their shelves (I mean their workplace) you and these people are simply strangers. Don't be so surprised if they seem to ignore you in public places. Once you understand the rule in this country, you will know how to behave. Just some of my experience during 6 months living in NK.
