My husband & I are considering moving to Tabubil with our 2 young children. I wanted to know whether it is safe & whether there are any services for families? Is there a park or playground or play group?
I've read that it's very wet & humid ... Is it unbearable?

The place is wet and humid.
Not too much for families to do.
May be a Google search would find out about playgroups etc.
I worked there before and during the town construction. Went back 18 years later and there was not much change at all, just got bigger.
There are direct flights to Cairns from site.
