Is the combined income after tax or not ?? Tax rates are high on that amount of money but you can claim some back each financial year. As an example I earn over $200,000 a year and pay 42% tax as a single person.

You will have to pay school fees. Rents are high in Perth because of the mining boom here.

If you accept the offer you need to find a school which will take all your kids together. Schools work on a zoning system so you cannot always get kids into a school outside your zone.
Private schools are prohibitively expensive.
