Economical way to send boxes from USA

Hello,

My name is Johanna Knight, & I live in Mongolia.  My brother & his wife are in the States now, and they will probably be coming to Mongolia in the fall.  Is there a cheap, but reliable way to send boxes from the States to Mongolia, which would be cheaper than paying extra baggage fees?

Thank you for your suggestion.  I was especially looking at sending boxes of items, especially printed matter, that one can't fit in the luggage limits of air travel (without paying extra baggage fees), rather than moving house. Any further suggestions would be welcome.
