single status certification

hi....i'm from India i will marry from foreign for that i need single status certification ....can any one tell me for that which government authority i have to approach...can any one help me ..?

Hi;

You have to make a statement (affidavit) and get it notarized. The statement should include your full name, age, address. birth date, parents name and passport number.

You may have to get it apostille if you are going to use it abroad.
