Hey folks
My wife and I are considering a move to Amsterdam on a working VISA for a year before we turn 30 as this is the cut off point to obtain a working VISA in the Netherlands through the Australian Working Holiday scheme.
Neither of us speak Dutch but are willing to learn, we just wanted to know if you could successfully work there if you knew basic Dutch or whether you would need to be quite fluent in it?
I am a graphic designer and will be hopefully looking for work in that field. Does anyone know whether English is predominately spoken seeing that it is such a universal language these days in that industry?
