Where i can go spend my weekend

Hi davidhouc, Welcome to Expat.com and the forum.
Although i'm not in sunny Indonesia, you will find this forum quite good and alot of friendly people.  The posts here are more interesting and you can join in too.

I think the Indonesia side of Expat.com have regular gatherings, which is a great way to meet others. Go thorough the forums and you can find out when is the next gathering..

Hi David,

You can try expat bars like Eastern Promise, Murphy's and Fez in Kemang, south of Jakarta.
You can join their pool team aswell if you are into it.
Other places would be Molly Malone's in Arcadia Senayan, Cazbar in Kuningan, might also try Jaya Pub - pretty old pub in Thamrin, Aphrodite at Pasar festival Kuningan.

Let me know if you want me to send you some contacts. I know quite a few of members from here who goes to these places on weekends.
