I heard that there is a windy season and it's fairly intense. How long does it last and how windy is it? I would also like to say that I am a single woman and it would be nice to contact other women in Boquete as I'm planning a trip there to investigate the area. I'm not sure when. It may depend on the weather.

The windy season in Boquete is typically from January through March. It all depends on the area of Boquete as to how bad it is. Alto Boquete winds are harsh. I'm in the Volcancito area, and I know in certain areas it is bad, but not where we live...it's more of a gentle breeze.
