Hi Everyone
Firstly I want to applaud this wonderful website for putting so many people in contact.
I am due to move to Sohar, Oman in a couple of months. I want to know what the city is like for single-living women..and whats the cost of a 2-Bedroom apt in a nice location roughly per month.
I would greatly appreciate help and would love to make new friends.

Oman is a safe place to live in, so as a single-living woman you wouldn't face any problems and you would be surrounded with a great expat community wherever you go in Oman.
I don't really know, how much an accommodation in Sohar would cost you, but I'm sure some of the active members on the Forum can contribute with the necessary information.
As a start, I would suggest you to browse through the forum and have a look at the old threads, it might provide you with a lot of the useful information which may assist you while preparing for your move.
