I've been living in the Wellington area for 2 years now (from Canada). If you'd like to get together for a coffee sometime just let me know ([email protected]) am available most weekdays after work. Also there is an awesome group in Welli called Adventure Wellington found at meetup.com - get together for all kinds of fun things; sailing, rock climbing, drinks, etc. Given your background you may be able to use this group to organize yoga/meditation classes.
