I think that you have an amazing idea. Expat gathering is extremely good for expats because they can get more contacts in a new country. Actually, there should be a gathering for expats and native people because including natives can only help expats. For example, even expats can get a lot of information on the internet, natives initially know some things about their country/city better, so they could provide more information about how to solve some problem, do some papers, etc.

@mmacak, this is an old thread, why don't you start a new one on the Zagreb forum and propose something?
