An Interesting facts & places to go in Jakarta ( The Big City )

HI to all my new expats friends:) First of all, do let me introduce myself, my name is Zansen n this is my second time writing in this forum, an Indonesian born Chinese living in overseas english speaking countries for abt 14 years, which after that I came back to Indonesia city in Jakarta for good since 2009,  4 years had since passed, I shall share some of my experience regarding places to go for delicious food, luxury n big shopping centres for buying your daily necessities, trading centres for buying stuffs that is the latest fashion in town such as bags, watches, clothes & etc. While there are some reviews from my friends about good places to go for massage n spa for relaxing ur body & soul. Here is d first review about food, there is a local famous food outlets which serve delicious `Smash fried chicken` Rice set which is accompanied by a must spicy chilli sauce to go with. Its located at pluit are at the morth Jakarta, as for price wise, it is reasonable fare for d value of food being serve, there are also 24 hours street variety food at Sabang road located behind d Sarinah buildings. D second thought of my personal experience will be if u r a shopaholic, I will suggest u to go places like grand Indonesia shopping centre, Gandaria City mall, Px pavilion & etc. As for clubbers lover, u can patronise places such as Red square, dragon fly, blowfish, equinox & etc.  I would suggest if u r looking for watches, bags, clothes n other etcfashion stuff, u can go to itc mangga dua, it kuningan, mangga dua square & etc. Last but not least when d time have come to relax n pamper urself 4 d body n soul, there r massage centres such as Nano located at pluit, opposite Emporium pluit shopping centre located at north jakarta. There are other places too such as. Delta spa, Puri spa & massage centre n many more that is available. I am pretty familiar with the busy n buzzing as well as d entertainment area in this city, so do contact me if anyone of u need information or have any question regarding about the city , I shall do my best to guide u with my knowledge. "Smashed fried chicken" or Ayam goreng penyet is widely spread in the city. My favorite would be from Tekko, it has branches all over  Jakarta and perhaps Indonesia. I'd go there and torture myself with the spiciness of the sambal every time I have the chance to :D

Ya sophie, tekko do serve delicious fried smash chicken but however u shd try d one at Bu Kris located at north part of Jakarta, its d best I assume, Cheers:

I'll try and reach North once I'm back in Indonesia, though it'll be a long drive for a "Smashed fried chicken" but if it's worth the trip, then why the hell not ;)
