Hey there,
I moved to Canberra a couple of weeks ago from Birmingham (UK), I'm hoping to meet new people for some fun times - drinking, eating, cinema, sports... anything really!!!! As I'm sure many of you have experienced it can be difficult meeting people in a new city, let alone an entirely different country. I thought I'd post on here and see if anybody is interested in meeting up, or giving me a bit of advice about how you expanded your social circle when you first arrived.

Hey,
When I moved here, I met lots of people through work, but I've noticed that this varies A LOT depending on where you work. The job I have now doesn't really have any opportunities for meeting anyone at all.
Hopefully you can work somewhere cool like I used to!
