Hello, can anyone tell me if it is possible for an Indian expat to get a driving license in Algeria? Is so what is the procedure. I am living in Mostaganem, near Oran.

Hi Ahmed,

If you have your resident card as a work permit,You will need to go through a test, algerian driving laws are strict, it is gonna take time also, almost from 3 to 6 months to get one, it is expensive too, and you have to get used to cause police is everywhere, and if they take from you your licence, you can wait min 6 months to get it back, this is the minimum punishment lol
I do not want to scare you .. go to Wilaya of Mostaghanem with an algerian and ask for the legal procedure.
