Living costs on Bali

Hello everybody,
I am right now almost finished with my studies and only still have to do an internship in my fourth year. Now I was thinking about doing that internship on Bali...I was wondering, how much money would I need per month to survive, so for the room, food etc.? Of course I am a student, so I dont need too much smile )
Also, how is it with the language? Can you get around with only English?
Would be awesome, if one of you has some information,
greetings,
Anna-Lena

Re: Living costs on Bali

Actually it depends on what room you gonna take.. I think it less than a million per month for a standard room? You can easily blend in with only English Language bcos there are plenty of foreign tourist there,so locals speak english as well.

Re: Living costs on Bali

Hey Anna,,, its not expensive in Bali as long as you take the local stuff such as local warung(small shop) to eat or to buy something(daily needs) and it depends on your area.. if you stay in tourism area you will be charged much more expensive than the downside area..
Well the famous tourism area such as: kuta, legian, seminyak, ..
about the language local people can speak english even its not as good as foreigners..
if you say you are a student sometimes you can get cheaper price when you bargain something wink
