Offshore & Marine Engineers in Africa NEEDED

Offshore and Marine Engineers in Africa NEEDED-Steam skills and control system knowledge are required


A well-known ship company is providing steelwork repairs on vessels in the offshore oil & gas industry and carried out at sea in fuel oil storage tanks on FPSO & FSO vessels.

The critical element is that you MUST have steam experience.
The ability to speak either English or French is also essential.

Operator boiler watchman: ( 2nd Engineer )----Steam plan type FPSO
1.    Drive and watch two boilers type V2 M8 (steam pressure 60 bars)
2.    Drive 4 power steam turbine generator (3.5 Mw each)
3.    Drive 2 water maker ( capacity:14 400GPD)
4.    Monitoring of plan parameters of the plan.
5.    Start up of the machinery and the plan when required.
6.    Steam skills and control system knowledge are required


Engine supervisor:  ( 1st Engineer)
1.    two boilers type V2M8 (steam pressure 60 bars)
2.    4 power steam turbine generator (3.5 Mw inch)
3.    4 water maker (capacity: 14 400GPD)
4.    Different kind of sea water pump
5.    Air conditioning compressor
6.    Management and supervisory (10 national Congolese Worker)

These are permanent positions for the right candidates who will operate on a 6 week on / 6 week off rotation cycle although the first tour will be for 8 weeks to allow for vessel/systems “familiarisation”.
