Going out in Chiang Mai
Hi there,
Which are your 10 favorite places to go out in Chiang Mai?
Which places would you recommend to newcomers? (restaurants, pubs, discos, theaters, cinemas, concert halls...)
Thanks!

Recommendations for a newcomer to Thailand?
When friends come to visit, my very first stop with them is always a pharmacy.
Get antidotes for upset stomach, diarrhea, skin itching from MSG in the food, talcum powder for heat itch, and sanitizing hand cleaner.
"The flu" has arrived in Thailand, so maybe get something for sore throat, and antihistamine for allergy/sneezing.
During the "burning season" (March-April) also a few surgical masks.
Then, well prepared, we can move on to more pleasant places.
Within the first month, most everything mentioned above will have been needed, at least once.
