Going out in Edinburgh

Hi there,

Which are your 10 favorite places to go out in Edinburgh?

Which places would you recommend to newcomers? (restaurants, pubs, discos, theaters, cinemas, concert halls...)

Thanks!

I would particularly be interested if anyone can recommend some lovely restaurants!

Hi April,

My favourite restaurants in Edinburgh are the following:

1. The Atrium, (Fine Dining) 10 Cambridge Street
2. The Dogs, (no frills bistro) 110 Hanover Street
3. La Garrigue, (French) 31 Jeffrey Street
4. Bella 'Mbriana, (Italian) 7 East London Street
5. Fishers Seafood, (Seafood) 1 Shore
6. David Bann's, (Vegetarian) 56-58 St Mary's Street
7. The Kitchin, (Seasonal British) 78 Commercial Quay
8. Dusit, (Thai) 49a Thistle Street
9. The Witchery by the Castle (Scottish), 352 Castlehill

A lovely tearoom we're fond of is 'Loopy lorna's Tea House' at 370 Morningside Road which does great teas, coffees, cakes, breakfasts and small meals. It can get busy though.

They are all different, but very good and I'm sure you'll find one you love amongst them. We actually run the Scotland City Guide which has loads of information about Edinburgh's districts, eating out, what to do, attractions & adventure activities which you may find helpful.:)

Here's a link to our eating out page which has more info: www.scotlandcityguide.com/Eating-out-in … 792%29.htm
If I can be of any more help don't hesitate to get in touch.
