Re: Do and don't in Luxembourg
Hi, everybody.
Is very easy live in Luxembourg because is a multicultural country where people from all 27 countries of Europe Union work in the EU instituions. Small country with beautifull places to visit. They use 3 languages usually: luxemborgish, german and french(most usual between foreigns and locals). Everything is very organizaded and people get retired in their homes very soon. Noturn life ends at 2 am.
Its an expensive country but the salarys are one of the bests in the Europe. Very cold, rain in almost entire year and planet´s friend. Everybody recycle.
If yoy are looking for a very organized, peacefull life with all the quality in the world this is the best place to do it!
Cheers

Re: Do and don't in Luxembourg
I live in FRance but work in Luxembourg. The city has all the advantanges of a capital, with a lot of extras : you recognise and get to know more people, you are 5 minutes drive from the country, you are not anonymous - I chat to bus drivers, sandwich sellers - you just get to know them and be interested in everyone over time.

It is a nice country, but if you are a spanish boy or girl it wouldn't be a piece of cake to live here! There is no sun, it quite cold, and windy place. Shops are closed really soon in the evening... I imagine you understand what I mean :p
