Hey Fouzi,

I know Sallaumines near Lens, I did the most part of my studies there :)
I know the Australian bar at Lille where they love to hire English speakers. It depends on what kind of job you are looking for. Anyway, I hope it will be a help for you :)
Go to the "Manpower" recruitment agencies, they could be very interested by your language skills and they can find for you a lot of jobs in different fields.

Let me know if you need anything.
I'm a "ch'ti" expat in Melbourne

Hi there I am moving to Lille in January time and wondered what it was like for jobs over there for English speakers? I am learning french but it is very minimum at the minute but want to learn more when I come over.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am also looking for jobs for Dutch and English speakers.
I moved from Holland to France to live with my girlfriend.
So far it is hard to find a job. Specially when you speak not fluently French.

you need to go to this office: pole emploi ; that you are searching job and they will make your CV if you dont have experince and you will have a trainning
to this office where the company go for searching employers and people searching job

bonne chance!!

Hello,

I just read your ad. I can see it's almost two years old. Are you still in Nord Pas de Calais? I'm currently in Tourcoing and searching for work.

How do i find a job for english speakers? My job search isn't going too well especially when they here I'm still in the states. Are Skype interviews and attaining a job offer before a move no longer an option?

Without speaking French, it will be complicated. The French language is the working language... Another thing, there is a lot of unemployment in France and the North has a high rate of unemployed and priority of them, above all in accounting, an area where there is a lot of people graduated into and available...

Why do you want/have to move in North?

This seems to be one of the most active threads on here for finding work in Lille so I'll chip in.
Hello,
My name is Luke and I'm from England. I'm going to be in Lille for a couple of months as I will be living with my girlfriend there (who is a local) and looking for some temp/fixed-term work to tide me over.
Unfortunately my French skills are currently very limited (on chapter 3 of teaching myself French). I'm an experienced IT support engineer and specialised in Network and Security analysis. I am also highly experienced in talking with and helping non-native English speakers learn and practice English although I have no formal qualifications. If anyone has any hints for English speaking IT work or places to look for English language teaching/practice/assistance, please let me know. Thanks in advance and I can't wait to enjoy Lille in the summer :D

Luke

Hi,

I would like to express my interest in the English Speaking jobs in and around Deux Sèvres.

I have settled here in France since October 2016,  but I was schooled and brought up in the UK with a degree in English and French, degree in Philosophy, and a degree in comparative Religion.

Should you require me to attend an interview, I am available at short notice.

Regards,

D Mehta

I feel like there are plenty of jobs in France for people who speak both English AND French, but if you only speak English and no French or very little French, then you're pretty much out of luck.

Hi Zinjah,

I have a degree in English and French. So I do speak both English and French. I hope that will help me to find a job in France.

D Mehta

Too bad I'm seeing this only now. I'm really interested.

Hi

My company i recruiting english speaker customer service ( contact center) if you are interested please contact me in private o more information (it is in tourcoing, 20 minutes from lille)

Hi,
