I'm thinking of relocating to Belize and am wondering how I will get some necessary medications there. I've talked to my mail order pharmacy here in the US and they will not ship to Belize due to having to deal with customs. The main meds I need are Humira and Altace. Could anyone there tell me if a doctor in Belize can prescribe them or failing that how do customs work and what would be the charges and customs delays. The Humira has to be sent in a temperature controlled box between 37F and 47F so if it's gets held up in customs could get ruined. It's $700 a shot here.
