Re: Living in Nepal

Living in Nepal is FUN ! It is addictive...colorful,interesting, safe for foreigners...no one will hurt you intentionally!
It is also a bit dangerous! If you take a public overland bus...they race like hell...better take a designated tourist coach...you find them everywhere. They generally cost  about 75 % more than a local bus but they are more comfortable.
Uh...Nepal is very poor and you look rich...take care of your belongings....naturally there are pick pockets operating in crowds and overloaded vehicles! cool

Sorry Flo, but in my idea this will be close to impossible. People / Companies here are usually looking for experienced people...
But if there would be any work for a french teacher in Kathmandu, then most likely the local branch of the Alliance Francaise would know about it. Why don't you try contacting them?

Good luck!

Jorge.
