Birthdays
Hello Everyone,
What do people usually do when it's their parents' birthdays back home? Last year all I did was call, which made me feel like a cheap bastard cause it only cost me $2 - onesuite - I'd send flowers or candy or something but internationally that's a bit much. What's something nice, but not wallet breaking?

Re: Birthdays
You can send a nice card, hand written in which you can say that you miss them
You can also talk about your life in a blog, send them its address an type messages especially for them! Blogs are a fantastic way to keep in touch with your family & friends
How funny it's actually my mother's birthday in a couple of days I have to remember it!
