Positives and negatives of living in Serbia

OK, as an British expat living in Serbia I would like to give you some of my positives and negatives of living in Serbia and maybe someone can add to them:

- inefficient bureaucracy makes getting things done infuriating sometimes
+ the laid-back approach to life makes the pace of life much more appealing

- things are getting more expensive
+ Serbia is still pretty cheap by Western standards

- Serbia has many annoying ingrained attitudes retained from Medieval/Byzantine/Ottoman times.
+ Serbia is still relatively free of western consumerist idealogy (though it's going that way)

- Serbia is not in the EU, and won't be for some time
+ Serbia is not in the EU, and won't be for some time!

- the Serbian language is quite difficult to learn for English speakers
+ the Serbian language is not half as difficult as some other languages, like Hungarian!

Anyone suggest some more?

Mark
