Hi all, I'm a British expat happily living in Nairobi and have been here for 13 years and blogging about life here for x10. I first set up the blog in order to describe how life in Nairobi really is to help out others who might be heading here for a posting, or just to update those who have a soft spot for Kenya in their heart. I've recently re-designed my website, which now has a more visual format and includes videos etc.

I work as a freelance writer and magazine editor.
The 'Africa Expat Stereotypes' I devised are featured on the blog and are currently also being serialised by the UK Telegraph online under 'Expat life'. These stereotypes - are based on somewhat eccentric, fictionalised characters in Nairobi today, of which, 'Jack the Kenya Cowboy' is the most famous.
I am very excited to join the Expat.com network.  Great website Julien!

I have lived all over the world in places such as Egypt, Morocco, India, Israel, Thailand, India, Bermuda, Scotland, Alaska, Greece, Turkey and few others. Like Brinda up above i am also a Psychotherapist, but also practice Executive Coaching with big corporations, HR Consultancy, Organizational Change Management and specialize in a number of counseling/psychology areas like substance abuse, difficult client populations and relationship counseling. However, i am not limited to professional endeavors as it were...i kite board as of recently, scuba dive, mountain climb (did the everest base camp hike last year in Nepal) and enjoy many other things. I would love to meet some new people. If anyone is in Mombasa and feels like a meet up for drinks or lunch let me know. Thanks
