I am wondering how costly it is to always have internet access via your phone in DR. In the US, I almost never without internet, either wi-fi or through cellular data plan. However, it seems like it is very expensive to have 24/7 wi-fi when in DR. Is that true? If I rented an apartment there, say San Pedro, is there internet service available for my phone and computer?
Finally, is there a cellular provider that you can have ulimited data?
