Have anyone experiences going to school for norskkurs? By the way, how long did you finish the 600 hours? How many months? How many years we can avail the free tuition? My residence permit will be one year this June 2016. So it means on June 2018 I cannot longer avail the free tuition? Thanks a lot.

I think you don´t need to finish the 600 hours if you passed the Norskprøve 2.

if you surf all the different schools' website, they will state the hours in each of their courses. they have intensive courses which can be daily or not so intensive. From there, you can tell how long you need to take the classes to fulfil the hours.
It is cheaper to take classes meant for Norskprøve 2 and pass the test to get permanency residency.
Not everyone who is under family unification is entitled to free norskkurs. I heard only non EU/EEA people under family unification visa or people under aslyum is entitled to that.
