I am planning a trip to Jakarta in November. I'd like accommodation close to the Golden Triangle area. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The golden triangle is the business area of the city. Thamrin, Senayan, Sudirman maybe upto Kuninghan. But its vast in area so perhaps the OP could hone in a little to help

Glen, its a big area of the city so is there any specific part you will be visiting or just generally. If generally then search for places in Thamrin or Setia Budi as they are pretty much amongst it all or the Harris at FX.

The Harris FX has nice big rooms with amazing views, but many of their rooms have awful airconditioning. Last stay there we tried three rooms but the a/c was lousy in all of them. As compensation they gave us 2 x Coffee Bean IDR200k vouchers. Other Harris hotels seem better, but frankly the choice of hotels in that area is huge.
