EC Expat Starts Radio Show on the Coast With Worldwide Web Streaming

A Salinas, Ecuador-area Expat named Susan Schlesinger has announced she will be hosting her own radio show starting next Monday evening (October 19, 2015), being aired on Radio Salinas FM 103.3 and Web-streamed worldwide.

A highly intelligent, opinionated blogger, Susan has been posting for years on multiple Expat forums -- including this one and another for which she is the principal moderator -- under the name Ocean Hideaway.

"La Gringa on the Ecuador Coast" is the working title of the program.  It will feature Susan's commentary and guests.

Susan is an innkeeper in the Salinas area for a property that caters primarily to non-Gringos.

I queried her about when and how often the program will be heard.  She answered that such will be announced soon.

The first program is currently scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on October 19th.

Susan says Web-streaming of the program will be available at...

La Gringa's deal with the radio station apparently left something to be desired.

Her blog followers, unable to get said radio program, are currently wondering if and when the show will be aired as the planned debut was not delivered at the pre-announced time.

Susan indicated online that she's still working on getting the program off the ground.

She should get in touch with http://spacial.com

This is the former company I worked for and they are specialized in Internet radio software and streaming services.

SAM Broadcaster Cloud would get her radio online in no time.

Great initiative by the way!

December 2015 update...

Yulrun's idea sounded promising.  However, Susan seems to have decided to take things in a "This Is Ecuador" mode.

Meaning:  the radio show will happen if and when it happens.

Meantime, it hasn't happened.
