Job offer from Oman

Hi My husband has got an offer from Oman they are saying they will give 125000 Indian rupee per month,along with following facility

1.Family accommodation
2.Car
3 Medical
4.Insurance
5.Children education
6.Year air fare for India with family.

Is it ok,should we go ahead with it.

Please guide,waiting for your responses.

Dear preetibajajsingh,

I am not sure, whether it is fair to comment what's a "fair Salary" without knowing the capabilities of your husband and how niche the skill-set is . So it will be grossly incorrect to venture there.

Possibly if you wanted to know , if that money is good enough for a family to have a comfortable living , "the cost of living" thread would have enough and more answers . Many of the members have quoted with precise details the costs likely to be incurred for a comfortable living (though the definition of comfortable living could be very debatable).

On the face it, i may venture to reassure you , housing and transport being taken care of ...... the offer is good enough (about OMR 750 when converted) for a comfortable living along with a little savings too.
