Do you of mountain areas like Turrialba or San Rafael de Heredia with cabletica broad band internet and without too many power cuts from ICE. I live at the beach and we are having an imposible time with ICE this year.

Not that I want more Gringos living here but..... I live just outside of Zarcero. Hardly any power cuts, good internet connection. I post to my website at least twice a week with very few problems. I also have a bunch of social media accounts that I have to keep active. No problem. Also, the rent up here is low due to the lack of Gringos. Problems that might come up: Not tons of rentals and they're mostly unfurnished. You need to speak some Spanish. Not much North American stuff easily available.
