My two cents:
1- Improve your writing, speaking, listening and reading. Thorough practice is the only way around.
2- Get well-acquainted to the test format -- information easily available online.
There is nothing much a tutor can help you in; except pushing you to do practice.
My score was 'band 8' last year. The test format was the only thing I went through; and (literally) didn't do any other preparation.
