Can they make visa without passport or document? Got offer from Oman

i would like to know , 20 years back i was having T.B. and i got well treated for it. as now i got offer for oman and have to go for medical test will it effect for my visa. As before going to GCC test i check with chest specialist he says no problem, he checked with CT Scan Thorax with contrast and find no problem.

im worried will i clear the oman medical or not

Hi, the offer letter is not worth anything. So no point pushing for it. When your employer says they are trying for visa it really means they have applied for clearance to hire an expat. For that they dont need your passport details. They can start processing your visa only after they receive this clearance. This clearance could take several months and possibly not even be received. its purely up to the manpower ministry. DO NOT resign your current job irrespective of what they tell you until you they get the clearance.

i got your point Sohar, they are appointing too many people for there company and only few got visa till now out of which many get fail in medical. now they by phone about selection but asking about offer letter and visa process they says ..it  tough in oman get visa so will take time. not know how much truth they saying to us

secondly i not get perfect answer about medical , if was having past 20 years T.B. but cured 100% now no active T.B.,  will it create problem in my medical clearance.. My Dr. advise me for CT Thorax with contrast and reports are normal only showing old scar of T.B. .

can anyone confirm about my medical clearance..... can i clear medical test of Oman

Come on!. There is no where in the world you can apply for a visa without a passport or travel document. This is the only Identification that is official for any international dealings

As long as the scan shows no sign of TB then there's nothing to worry about.nobody is going to dig into your medical history 20yrs back

dear old scar of T.B. still seeing , it like you heal a wound but scar not go away

so these old scar will give trouble to me in getting clear medical test???????

There's a huge difference btn a scar and a wound, am sure doctors know that.20yrs is too long to dig back.Tuberculosis aint a genetical disorder.its an opportunistic bacterial infection that is cured with treatment of a regimen of drugs.
Plus there are several ways of testing for TB besides e chest ray, if you have worries then opt for any.unless you ve been exposed recently

I beg to differ. TB is not an opportunistic infection. But Arabs have attached a stigma to the condition though it can be cured completely. So at GAMCA-affiliated clinics, doctors do consider it as 'significant'... be it 20 or even 30yrs old.

Unfortunately, what they do in India is take a plain chest X-ray film, find the old TB scar & declare you as unfit. But don't lose hope. You can take a chance.. & try your luck. Mind you, they won't do a CT to confirm or refute the findings.

Of course it is not possible. what they mean most probably is the labour clearance to employ someone in a particular position. Then, you will be put forward as the one selected for that position and and a visa appllied for
