Moving to Bali frm London- How easy to get Work + Can we buy Property?

Hi

I'm a regular visitor to Bali and am now considering making the move from London. Can anyone advise how easy it is to find work and if, as a foreign national, we can buy a property?

Grateful for any and all advice!

Many thanks
Carol

Carol, use some time and look in the forum to get the information you need. Here are so many topics about visa/work permit issues where you can find the answers.

In short, it's nearly not possible for foreigners to legally work except you can proof you have special skills what locals don't have.

Foreigners can not own land/properties.

Before moving to Bali make sure you understand about the laws and regulations here.

Visiting Bali for holiday is one thing, living here and getting income is a totally different thing.

Good advice from Tom...and my two cents...don't move to Bali, but rather give it a year try out first.

Expats ebb and flow like the tide here...and the vast majority don't last very long.

hi , no you cannot buy property only lease  in fact the property sector is falling substantially , re work unless your a chef or hotel manager its very difficult to find work here .

Hard, unless you have a special skill, and no.

If you have a degree and teaching qualifications, there's lots of work for native speaking teachers, but the work permits are getting to be hard work.
