Hotel with access to Mekong Delta

Access to the delta? Cần Thơ is in the middle of the delta, on a river!
Stayed here in June, google "Thanh Thuy Hotel Can Tho".
Rated 2 stars, I would give it 2.5. Old hotel, lots of dark wood, very high ceilings.
Perfect location for a tourist, across from Uncle Ho park.
Of course you must get a room with a balcony, lots to watch.
(If you don't stay there, then this is the right street anyway.)

Arrived Saturday afternoon by bus (Futa), and this old lady came by the quán ăn where we were sitting, offered us a good price to visit the floating market. I think 100.000VND each. Early Sunday morning, we just walked across the street and park, the little boats waiting there.
It was great, a small longtail boat, just two of us and another lady. After the market she also continued to a place to eat a noodle breakfast, down long canals. You see the city from the river. I would never go on those big tourist speed boats with loudspeakers etc.
The sales lady is easy to find, she is always working the street to find customers for the little-boat ladies.
