My friend left oman one month before without cancelling his employment visa.(oman visa expiry date may 2016)
Now he is in india.He got 2 offers from UAE and kuwait.please let me know can he go any of these countries with out cancelling oman visa.pls reply..its very urgent.

I can speak for the UAE based on some experiences my friends had recently. The rule is that you must not apply for UAE resident visa if there is an uncanceled GCC visa on your passport. When the visa is being stamped or even at Dubai airport immigration they might send your friend back and refuse to provide him with his residence visa if an open GCC residence visa is there. I think the situation for Kuwait should be same.

Its always safe to apply for new visa after cancelling the old one. there are cases in which people got new visa without cancelling and with cancelling...its completely luck... can submit the documents to uae companies for new visa...Better its to cancel old 1 and can travel from oman to UAE directly.
