In the search box at the top of the page, just enter '9-v' and you will get a number of hits discussing the professional 9-V visa for Ecuador and the necessary requirements.  Your university must be on the list (which is available in the PDF referenced in the first hit listed, the first post) and other necessary steps are detailed at the Cancilleria's web pages.

Note that even if your university is not on the list, the 9-V may still be possible - you just don't get automatic approval for that part of the process.
