Hi Guys. I'm getting a chance to work in POM from next January onwards in a foreign company.
When I googled to see the expats life there, saw and heard lot of negative stuffs. Is it really bad as what is said? Or just exaggerations? I've bit nervous after seeing and hearing all this.
Need ur views guys....:-) :-)

Hi, my wife have been here over a year and really like it. There are issues, but POM is changing and the "news" has yet to catch up with those changes, The info on the net was accurate a couple of years ago, but things are changing. There are plenty of safe places. I drive in the city everyday. Nice expat shopping areas. There are some places you don't want to go, but there is no need to go there either. heck my profile and click on the links to my other responses and you will get a little fuller explanation. No sense on repeating it all here.
