You're always welcome to post any questions or concerns you may have that weren't addressed in one of the threads linked above.

Expats in Libya know that Libya can be difficult. Feel free to let off steam as long as you know how to walk the fine line between innocuous venting and breaking the forum rules and etiquette.

sandman says put your hands on your head

^ I thought he said put you right hand on your head

I think I saw an extensive health care thread (seems to be quite a concern here) I'll find it and plug this in there.

Mods,

I think we have a challenging audience who still overlook this post, is there a way to make the sticky threads even more distinct? Bigger buttons? Larger text? whatever

You could change the title to something like 'FAQ by Expats' or 'Look here first before posting a question' or 'There are no stupid questions, just stupid people' :)

Hi,

The current situation seems to be good but not 100%.
I think it needs 3-4 months.

Things have changed dramatically since this thread was created, and they continue to change aggressively even today, January 28th, 2018 (currency-exchange prices for example). Posts and comments before 2011 may not be 100% relevant today, but they can still be very useful in understanding the economic, cultural and political trajectory.
