Change of profession on IQAMA - 2015

aslam o alikum, with due respect dear sir I came here saudia 2 month ago. now i came to know that my iqama is aamil zraay (agriculture).I have done MsC mass communication .I went to so many places for interview in order to get job but they refused me to give job. so please let me know is it possible for me change the profession?? if its posible then whts criteria?? please sir guid me am so worried.

You can , by sending this to your home country and some one will have to do this on your behalf.

Yes and also you will need to register with Saudi Council of Engineers if you are planning to get Engineer as profession.

4. can my sponsor change the profession on iqama anytime.

The change request is made through the system by your sponsor or his acting usually GR / HR people.

You can change to any profession related to communication / marketing. Try marketing specialist .

You can approach your company GR/ PR/  HR and they can do this for you if not you can approach any general service firms. I do not endorse any since I dont have any personal dealings with any of them and cannot know how trustworthy they are.

You can find most of them near to the jawazat offices in Riyadh.

My new sponsor send request to old one,and request accepting everything finish . Now my transfer process checking time,I can saw this message.

My husband is moving to the KSA soon. He will go over on a visa that states his profession as 'cook'..they told him that this is the only visa available at this time and that once he gets his iqama they will change the profession to Director and he can then, with that change and his validated and translated diploma's, changehis status on his iqama.

I am slightly worried about this...Is this going to work? and if so, how much time is this ging to take do you think? I know the kids and I can not join him until he has the status of Director on the iqama and he can ask for a family visa for us then. I've read about a lady that had to wait for 11 months to be able to join her husband and this is worrying me...Staying behind with the kids is going to be hard on us all, but to think it might be for such a long period is just...depressing.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks..
