Moving to Misurata - Need some help. Thanks!

Hope you're having a great day so far. This is Dr. Asfandyar Gilani from Pakistan. I need a bit of help and information from you regarding Misurata. I have recently accepted an offer from the University of Misurata and I would be joining their Computer Science department soon. I will be travelling with my wife and two kids (below age 3).

Can you please help me with the following questions:

(1) What was the visa process like? Which degrees did you get attested and how long did the whole process of visa and Iqama take?

(2) What is the city like? Is it safe and what is the environment like?

(3) Is it possible to use taxi and public transport or is it mandatory to buy a car?  How much does it cost?

(4) What is the average cost of a house or flat near Misurata University?  Is it easy to find a place?
