Not sure if this is true, wasn't much information on the forum that I saw this on but here is the link:   http://englishnews.t...onths-to-1-year       I would
like to know if anyone else has read anything about it.
:thanks:

Sorry for the incomplete link:  here is the right one:

Perhaps update first post and heading saying its for US citizens only?  You have one hour to do this.

It's just a plan for tourists from the US  :)
They have many 'plans' to attract tourists!
Don't forget the same people cancelled the 6 months visa years back!

Exactly.
Just like the "visa free for 5 foreign countries"  thread.

Members need to read the news report.
Then refer to another news site.
Find the Actual facts.
Then post.

Although this 12 months ,1 year visa is great for American Gap year students who want to flood the VN teaching market.
Again.

There's also talk going around that agents in Saigon are doing 12 mth multi tourist visas.  I asked my agent and she said Yes, if your prepared to pay $600 to $700 but couldn't guarantee anything.

There was a guy on FB claiming to issue the 12 mth deal.   We all know anythings possible here if you flash enough cash.

Problem is,  if it's not a listed Visa on the Govt visa laws,  what will happen if you get pulled up at the airport and they say it's a dud.

That happened here when local guys in green outfits started selling Visa extensions.  It was just a rubber stamp in your passport and the Immigration people knew nothing.  I know of two people that had to pay fines at the airport for overstaying.     Nice
