Maadi - place

Hello everyone!

Do you know a good egyptian place / cofee/ restaurant in maadi to spend a good time?

Like "bedoin" style...?

Thank you!

Bedouin style? In terms of food, I think Chef Sarhan is the closest to traditional Arabic food. In terms of ambiance, I wouldn't know cause I've never been there: I only order through the phone...

Define good time. That can mean different things to different people.
Are you looking for a place that serves alcohol, are you going alone or with friends.
Bedouin style food. Hmmm. You will only find that in places like hurgada or sharm elshiek. Not popular anywhere else.
If you are looking for traditional egyptian food try abo elseed (not sure how its spelled). They do have a branch in maadi.
Villa 55 is a vibrant place, you can have few drinks, mingle and smetimes they do have live music. But food sucks, go for snacks and even then its a gamble.
Best places to go out is in zamalek. (At least my favourite). But maybe thats a topic for a different post
