Is Bau Fijian/Standard Fijian a different language from Fijian Hindi or are they similar?

The Fijian language is quite different than Fiji Hindi. The Fijian language is similar to other South Pacific languages (Tongan, Hawaiian) whereas Hindi is the language from India. Fijian is relatively easy to learn, and borrows many words from English.
