Throw them away if they are so used - who is going to buy anyway?  There are lots of very deserving charities who are very eager to have libraries or even goods they can sell. Think about this early, because its not possible to arrange collection or delivery in just a few days when you have things left to get rid of. Plan ahead.

My intention was either to sell it or give away to anyone that buys and recycle it.

Are you talking about things like old newspapers? Or, please define papers. In my neighborhood a lorry comes around once a week to collect all forms of paper, magazines, etc and they pay cash based on weight. Is that what you are looking for?
